Inside the Agnirva Climate Internship Program
agnirva-climate-internship-program
The Agnirva Climate Internship Program brings together Indian undergraduates to study one of the defining challenges of our generation — climate change — through the lens of space technology and artificial intelligence. Inaugurated under the IN-SPACe initiative and recognised by AICTE's NEAT 5.0, the program equips students with the tools to analyse climate systems using satellite data, remote sensing, and AI-driven environmental modelling.
Learners work through a structured curriculum spanning climate science fundamentals, space-based observation techniques, and real-world project work. Students advance through modules such as 'Climate from Space Project Foundation', 'The Art of Scope', and 'Assumptions and Risks: Planning for What Could Go Wrong' — skills that bridge environmental science with rigorous project management thinking.
With climate-related careers growing rapidly across government agencies, research institutions, and private sector firms, the Agnirva Climate Internship Program gives students a credentialed, practical pathway into this field. Students who complete the program earn an AICTE-recognised certificate and gain access to Agnirva's learning community. Learn more and apply →
About Agnirva
Agnirva is India's leading AI and space internship platform, inaugurated by IN-SPACe (ISRO's commercial space arm) and recognised under AICTE's NEAT 5.0. Our mission: equip every Indian undergraduate with the skills, credentials, and experience to contribute to India's space-age economy — regardless of their college or city.
We offer six internship tracks — Space, AI, Climate, Software, Design, and Product Management — each an 8-week, project-based program students can complete alongside their degree. Graduates receive an AICTE-recognised certificate and a verifiable allotment letter.
