By accessing Agnirva.com, participating in an Agnirva programme, submitting information to Agnirva, requesting or accepting a portfolio website, or otherwise using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the processing of your information as described herein. Where consent is specifically required by applicable law, such consent may be requested separately.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you must not submit information to Agnirva or use the relevant services.

Information We Collect

Agnirva may collect any information that you voluntarily provide through its websites, forms, internship activities, emails, support channels or other services.

In connection with the creation and operation of portfolio websites, we may collect and retain request IDs, submission dates, processing status, Wix site IDs, published website URLs, invitation status, notification status, retry records, system errors, support communications and other operational information.

You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide is accurate, lawful and appropriate for the purpose for which it is submitted.

Public Portfolio Information

Information submitted through the Agnirva portfolio application may be used to create and publish a publicly accessible portfolio website.

Depending on the information submitted, the published portfolio may display your name, photograph, location, professional headline, biography, skills, email address, social media profiles, professional profiles, project information, project images and external links.

You expressly acknowledge that a published portfolio website is public. Anyone may be able to access, view, copy, download, save, share, reproduce or otherwise use information made available on it.

Public portfolio websites may be indexed by search engines, displayed in search results, archived, cached or copied by third parties. Removing information from the live portfolio does not guarantee that previously published copies will be removed from search engines, archives, screenshots, backups or third-party systems.

You must not submit confidential, sensitive, restricted or private information that you do not want made publicly available.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Agnirva shall not be responsible for the collection, copying, republication, caching, indexing or misuse of information that you authorised or caused to be published through your portfolio website.

Use of Information

Agnirva may use information collected through its services for any lawful purpose reasonably connected with the operation, administration, security, development or improvement of Agnirva and its services.

Such purposes may include receiving and processing applications, administering internship programmes, creating portfolio websites, personalising portfolio content, importing and storing media, publishing websites, inviting users to access websites, sending transactional emails, providing editing instructions, operating support services, maintaining system records, troubleshooting failed requests, preventing fraud or abuse, enforcing Agnirva’s Terms of Use, protecting Agnirva’s systems and complying with legal obligations.

Agnirva may also use aggregated, anonymised or de-identified information for analytics, research, reporting, service development, capacity planning and any other lawful purpose.

Submitting information to Agnirva authorises Agnirva to copy, import, format, process, store, publish and transmit that information to the extent reasonably necessary to provide and operate the relevant service.

Portfolio Website Ownership and Access

Portfolio websites may be created within a Wix account owned or controlled by Agnirva. Unless and until a website is formally transferred, Agnirva may remain the registered or technical account owner of the website.

Agnirva may therefore retain full technical and administrative access to the portfolio website and to information stored on or processed through it.

Students may be granted broad administrative or co-owner access so that they can independently edit, operate and manage their portfolio websites. Such access does not remove Agnirva’s technical access, account-level access or access to information stored on the website.

Agnirva may access portfolio website information where reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, support, investigate or enforce the service.

Agnirva’s account ownership or technical access does not mean that Agnirva reviews, directs, approves, verifies or endorses every change made by a student after access has been granted.

Student Changes and Additional Services

Students with access to their portfolio websites may add, remove or modify content, applications, forms, analytics tools, payment features, advertising services, external integrations or other functionality.

Any additional collection or processing of information resulting from changes made by a student may be subject to the privacy policies and terms of the relevant third-party providers.

The student making such changes is responsible for ensuring that the changes are lawful and that any required notices, permissions or consents are obtained.

Agnirva does not assume responsibility for the privacy practices, data collection or conduct of third-party services independently added or activated by a student.

Log Files

As with most websites and online services, Agnirva and its service providers may automatically collect technical and usage information.

This information may include your IP address, internet service provider, browser type, device type, operating system, referring and exit pages, pages visited, date and time of access, session activity, click activity, error records and other diagnostic information.

This information may be used to operate the service, analyse trends, administer systems, monitor performance, investigate errors, detect abuse, maintain security and gather statistical information.

Portfolio information may remain available for as long as the associated portfolio website remains active.

Following deletion, removal, transfer or discontinuation of a portfolio website, copies of information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, email systems, archives and service-provider infrastructure.

Agnirva may retain certain information for a longer period where permitted or required for legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, record-keeping or enforcement purposes.

Your Rights and Requests

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information held by Agnirva. You may also request the removal or unpublishing of portfolio information or withdraw consent where the relevant processing is based solely on consent.

Agnirva’s programmes may include participants under the age of 18.
