Agnirva Space Premier League - Expedition #31097: Mission Discovery 4: Student Science Reaches New Heights

Imagine designing an experiment that actually goes to space! That dream came true for students involved in ISSET-Nanoracks Mission Discovery 4. Organized by the International Space School Educational Trust and King’s College London, this program empowers young minds to explore science through real-world application. With support from NASA, students brainstorm, design, and launch experiments to the International Space Station.

In this mission, participants tackled big questions: How do bacteria behave in microgravity? What happens to cells without gravity’s pull? The experiments launched during Expedition 61/62 sought answers, providing data to help scientists understand processes that could inform medicine, agriculture, and even space travel.

Mission Discovery 4 proves that space research isn’t limited to professional scientists. With the right guidance and opportunity, students can contribute to real discoveries, making this program a springboard for future STEM leaders.
