Agnirva Space Premier League - Expedition #31586: NanoRacks-Kentucky Space Test 2 & 4: A Tandem Leap for University Innovation

The follow-up experiments to Kentucky’s initial space test series, NanoRacks-Kentucky Space Test-2 and -4, continued exploring how various materials and electronic systems perform in space. Under the direction of Dr. James Lumpp and with support from both the Lowell Center for Space Science and Technology and Space Tango, Inc., these experiments focused on improving the design and resilience of small satellites.

Flown during Expedition 23/24, these tests offered direct data on hardware reliability, thermal performance, and radiation tolerance. They also included custom-built components by students, enabling them to see their classroom designs orbiting Earth.

These experiments validated innovations in payload integration and encouraged university students to become directly involved in space missions, bridging the gap between academic research and orbital deployment.
