The Seeds in Space experiment, led by Jack van Loon, M.D., and developed by ACTA University in Amsterdam, is an initiative designed to educate and engage the public in the wonders of space exploration. This educational and cultural activity was carried out during expeditions 8 and 9 aboard the International Space Station. The core idea behind this project was to send seeds into space and observe how they grow in microgravity.
