Agnirva Space Premier League - Expedition #32140: Seeds in Space: Educational Outreach Through Space Exploration

The Seeds in Space experiment, led by Jack van Loon, M.D., and developed by ACTA University in Amsterdam, is an initiative designed to educate and engage the public in the wonders of space exploration. This educational and cultural activity was carried out during expeditions 8 and 9 aboard the International Space Station. The core idea behind this project was to send seeds into space and observe how they grow in microgravity. The results from this experiment have been used not only to advance scientific knowledge but also to promote STEM education by sparking curiosity in students and the general public. This educational initiative, sponsored by the European Space Agency, aims to increase awareness about space science and inspire future generations of scientists and engineers. By involving the public in space exploration activities, ESA hopes to foster a new wave of interest and innovation in space-related fields.
