Agnirva Space Premier League - Expedition #32160: Improving Space Suits: The Evaporation Rejection Flight Experiment

The Spacesuit Evaporation Rejection Flight Experiment, led by Colin Campbell from NASA's Johnson Space Center, aims to test new technology that could revolutionize spacesuit performance. This experiment addresses a critical challenge in human space exploration: managing heat and moisture within the spacesuit during extravehicular activities (EVAs). By developing and testing an innovative evaporation rejection system, the experiment seeks to ensure astronauts can remain comfortable and safe in extreme environments. Conducted across multiple expeditions (61/62, 63, 65, 67, 64, and 66), this research is key to developing the next generation of spacesuits that will support long-duration missions, including those to the Moon and Mars.
