Agnirva Space Premier League - Expedition #32601: Tracking Natural Chaos: How Uragan - Stikhiynoe Bedstvie Guards the Planet

Natural disasters come in many forms—earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, and wildfires. Uragan - Stikhiynoe Bedstvie, meaning 'natural disaster', is an effort to study these threats from above using the powerful lens of the International Space Station.

The project collects and processes satellite images to detect early indicators of large-scale natural events. By monitoring cloud formations, ocean surface temperatures, ground movement, and vegetation changes, this system offers a holistic picture of planetary health.

Its predictive capabilities are vital for global disaster response coordination. With faster warnings and detailed data, emergency services can act quickly, while scientists gain insights that help in planning safer cities and infrastructure. Uragan - Stikhiynoe Bedstvie demonstrates how space missions directly contribute to our safety on Earth.
