Agnirva has launched a Software Internship Program that trains Indian undergraduates in software development with a curriculum anchored in the requirements of India's expanding space and deep-tech sector. The program is recognised under AICTE's NEAT 5.0 and was inaugurated under IN-SPACe. The eight-week program covers software engineering fundamentals, systems thinking, agile development practices, and an analysis of India's space software ecosystem — including how software systems support satellite operations and ground stations. Agnirva said the curriculum is built around project submissions that give students exposure to professional development cycles. India's space sector has expanded significantly in recent years, with ISRO's commercial activities growing and a new cohort of private satellite companies entering the market. Agnirva said it designed the Software track to address demand for software engineers with space systems domain knowledge — a combination not widely taught in standard computer science curricula. Participants from computer science, electronics, and mathematics fields have enrolled, though the program is open to all undergraduates. Completers receive an AICTE-recognised certificate and a verifiable allotment letter. Applications are open at agnirva.com.
