Agnirva Trains Indian Students in Climate Science Using Space Technology

Agnirva is training Indian undergraduates in climate science through a specialised eight-week internship track that uses satellite data, remote sensing, and artificial intelligence as its primary analytical tools. The Climate Internship Program is part of Agnirva's six-track platform, recognised under AICTE's NEAT 5.0 and inaugurated under IN-SPACe, the Indian government body that oversees commercial space activity. The climate track connects environmental science with space-based observation in a curriculum designed to give students both domain knowledge and technical skills. Students progress through modules covering climate science fundamentals, space-based measurement systems, AI-driven environmental modelling, and project planning disciplines. Agnirva said the curriculum reflects how climate analysts and environmental engineers work in professional settings. India is among the countries most exposed to climate-related disruption, and demand for professionals capable of working at the intersection of data science and environmental analysis has grown significantly. Students who complete the program receive an AICTE-recognised certificate and a verifiable allotment letter. Applications are open year-round at agnirva.com.
